The place was unique and luxurious and the staff were excellent, the location was amazing far to walk from Piccadilly train station. The rooms - new-fashioned, neat with the same book. Large breakfast selection for all tastes with various options including vegan.

Impeccably clean and spacious room with elegant touches.
The variety of breakfast options was lacking, especially for hot items.

the room was adequate although it states its riverside and its actually next to a filthy canal. the room had no tea or coffee making facilities and we had to ask for these, also there were no spare pillows. the bathroom was tired and a bit smelly, not what i'd expect from a five star hotel. the restaurant was poor. The service was excellent but the food was very poor indeed. my partner is a vegetarian and his main course consisted of a hard flat bread with a bit of goats cheese and some roast potatoes.not what you'd expect from a michelin chef....The hotel was very over priced and basic. I've stayed at much nicer three star hotels. We will not be returning.

Service is very friendly and helpful, excellent and rich breakfast with fresh, partly regional products, excellent central location. Reserved for our next stay in the region
Unfortunately, there is no "barrier-free" shower, only the usual bathtub with splash guard made of safety glass.

The breakfast spread was great, with enough options to keep this foodie satisfied. Plus, the room was spacious and immaculate-perfect for winding down after hitting the nearby bars! Can't forget the friendly concierge who made sure we were well taken care of!
Had a bit of a kerfuffle with the in-house hairdresser. They had me keep my eyes closed the whole time. The bar had a bit of a low energy.

Amazing building and rooms with very comfortable bed very quiet. Marvellous and brilliant location close to Deansgate amongst the shops and bars, and the bar / Restaurant especially Michael, and brilliant service. Also, easy access to a 19th - century bridge.

The staff made this hotel . Professional , courteous and helpful without being intrusive. Every one of them seemed happy at their job. Bedroom really large and large window. Lovely comfortable bed . immaculate room.
Bit too clinical and minimal for our taste. Maybe complimentary biscuit in the room would have been nice.
